ElSalavadore: El Salvador is the smallest of the Central American nations, but thanks to its efficient producers, climbing altitudes, and healthy soils – it is able to maintain some surprisingly high yields. It produces exceptional coffees to a consistently high standard.
The Pacamara variety, a natural cross between Pacas and the large-bean Maragogype variety. It can have quite exotic flavors spanning a range of fruits and spices. At its worst though, it tastes a lot like green onion! But I think the best Pacamara coffee in the world comes from El Salvador and we love to feature these when we find a delicious one!
San Salvador coffee is grown in the Apaneca Ilamatepec mountain region by the Magana-Mendez family farm. With over 100 years of experience, the farm focuses on sustainable practices and high quality coffee beans above all else. This Pacamara varietal has a sweet brown sugar essence with notes of cherry, green apple, and a hint of chocolate. The high acidity balances out the sweetness and medium body.
This wonderful mild and balanced coffee is packed full of flavour and rich, strong aromas for an all-round great tasting drink that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
Colombia: Hailing from Pitalito, a renowned region of high-quality, award-winning coffees. Grown at very high altitudes, the climate in the area is slightly cooler, allowing the coffee cherries to develop at a slower rate. This slower rate of growth allows more intense sugars and acids to develop, which is evident in the final cup.
Constanza features a delicate profile, bright acidity, medium body, sweet notes, and a fruity, caramel aroma.
You will get a cocoa sweetness upfront, followed by strong hints of dried stone fruit and caramel, ending with a citrusy sweet aftertaste. Constanza’s acidity is crisp, making the overall flavor perception exciting, leaving your palate delighted with a lingering sweet taste of calmness.
